David Hare’s celebrated play comes from Richmond to the Theatre Royal, Brighton for a limited time this November.
Set in 1895 and chronicling a semi-fictionalised account of Oscar Wilde’s tumultuous relationships during the release of his most famous work, The Importance of Being Earnest, the play celebrates and dissects the love, betrayal and self-destruction that defined both Wilde’s personal life and professional career.
The piece stars British star Rupert Everett as Wilde and up-and-coming actor Freddie Fox as Lord Alfred Douglas, his spurned lover.
Book tickets early to avoid disappointment! (Showings every evening at 19:45, plus two matinee performances at 14:30 on the 8th and 10th of November)
