Marina Car Park
20th October

We all know that Brighton is home to some of the best vintage and antique shops in East Sussex.
Often those one-of-a-kind treasures come with pretty hefty price tags. The flea market held down at the Brighton Marina, however, dances to the beat of its own drum: sellers know how to keep their prices in check.

Every Sunday from 7am-12pm, dozens of dealers set up shop on Level 9 of the car park.
Selling just about everything from DVDs and books, to antique jewelry and vintage duds, a majority of the dealers are willing to negotiate more than fair prices.
Most people will suggest that you get there early, to beat the crowds and score the hottest finds.
I find, however, that it’s easier to drive a hard bargain just before closing time. Waiting until the end to show up means that you better be prepared to scour through all the left overs.
If you do decide to turn up early, there are plenty of vendors selling decently priced food and warm drinks to keep you fueled for your hunt. So go on, check it out. Unleash your inner haggler.
