About Us

The Badger newspaper is the University of Sussex’s Student Newspaper!

The paper releases six editions a year, distributing thousands of copies to students and staff at the University during term time. It covers news and sports on campus, as well as opinion pieces, features, local life, science and arts coverage. The paper has been running for over 50 years, once called ‘Union News’ until it changed to its iconic Badger icon and name.
