The Badger newspaper is Sussex Universities best (and only) Student Newspaper!
The paper has a monthly circulation, distributing thousands of copies to students and staff at the university during term time, covering news and sports on campus, as well as comment pieces, features, local life, and arts coverage. The paper has been running for 50+ years, once called ‘Union News’ until it changed to it’s iconic Badger icon and name.
The paper has gone through its ups and down in recent years, but has come back better than ever – recently winning five national awards at the Student Publication Association Awards.
