BBC Radio 1’s iconic Annie Mac!

The Badger can exclusively reveal that Irish DJ Annie Mac will be bringing her future sounds flair to the University of Sussex campus when headlining the Sussex Festival 2019 on Sunday 22 September.

This year’s festival will feature 3 talent-packed stages revolving around the Treasure Island theme. Shiver me timbers!

Mac, who has hosted the Annie Mac Presents: Lost & Found festival yearly in Malta since 2015, will be expertly headlining the Treasure Island main stage amongst an array of incredible but as-yet-unannounced supporting acts.

The event will also feature the URF-run Pirate Radio Stage and the Paradise Cove stage which will be showcasing the best of live indie, soul, electronic and alternative music.

Tickets are available for £20 or as part of the Freshers’ Week Golden Ticket Bundle.

Tickets and more information will be available on the Student Union website on Thursday 15th August. As well as at the Students’ Union’s Welcome Hub in Library Square throughout Freshers’ Week. The Festival event will run from 7pm to 1am.

So, get your eye patches, fake parrots and pirate flags at the ready for an unforgettable night!
