I once made my way onto a “best quotes” list in my first year of school. I hadn’t given my throw-away comment much thought, but it was one my friends will never forget: “I don’t like Harry Potter; it’s just too scientific”. To me that was the truth and nothing but. I don’t want to crack codes, remember spells or piece together scraps of information to enjoy a plot. Okay, we need science, it is integral to human progression, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Science is like Ron’s annoying little sister: probably should be put up with, but bloody annoying and a bit of a pain.
