Having just celebrated a year in monthly residence at one of Brighton sea front’s premier venues, Minimal Kids looks set to continue. Adding a much needed dash of minimal house and techno, to a city that has for too long lacked a night for those who like their music with a distinctly Germanic vibe.

As a change of pace last Saturday’s festivities were fronted by resident djs Sav Manganaro and headlined by Enzo Siffredi who’s three hour set covered a diverse mix from funky swing house to hard Berlin techno. Having played host to a diverse mix of brilliant djs and producers since last July (including the mighty Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin), you can always expect a big night. Though no big names were present last week Enzo held his own, pulling out all the stops to provide an evening that impressed minimal diehards and casual fans alike.

Things are set to return to normal next month, with Berlin duo channel x appearing behind the decks, and if their album is anything to go by it should be quite a show. So if you are already a paid up minimal lover or yet to discover the joys of one of Audio’s best nights, head down to discover an unsung hero and bastion of great house music in Brighton.
