Comedy quartet The Noise Next Door arrive at Komedia this weekend for their one-of-a-kind comedy show blending improv, music, geekery and a good helping of Christmassness for good measure.
Having performed sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe a staggering eight times, and appeared on BBC TV, BBC Radio and ITV, the foursome are paving their way to becoming one of the most talked-about improv troops in the country.
Their shows incorporate a series of songs and skits which take their lead entirely from audience shout-outs. As a result, just about anything is on the cards for what an evening with The Noise Next Door has in store.
The group is made up of four friends – Charlie Granville, Matt Grant, Tom Livingstone and Sam Pacelli – who met at university and haven’t stopped mucking about together since. Their YouTube channel is filled with wild schoolboy escapades, pop culture parody songs and quirky sketches, all brimming with insatiable energy and unashamed daftness.
For this weekend’s Brighton Christmas special, the troop will be joined by comedic writer Adam Kay and funny man and Comedians Cinema Club star Simon Feilder. Seated in cabaret style, audiences are invited to order from Komedia’s new Christmas menu and enjoy prosecco and a meal with the show.
The Noise Next Door’s Comedy Lock-In Xmas Special is at Komedia on Sunday 10 December. The show starts at 8pm (doors 7pm).
Tickets : From £15/£26 with meal
