On Wednesday 19th of March, four fire-engines were spotted on campus tackling a blaze which has apparently originated from an air fryer.
The fire, which allegedly occurred in an East Slope flat in Camber, started around 6:40PM, and was put out by the team of fire engines by 8:00PM.
Fire alarms were heard going off as students evacuated the building, The Badger understands that all students were able to evacuate safely and quickly, with no injuries being reported as of yet.
Videos filmed by students show the fire tearing through the kitchen of a ground floor flat, and students made note of the fire engines rushing through campus to tackle the fire quickly.
