After a ten year hiatus, seminal Sacramento hip-hop duo, Blackalicious, return to the scene with a new album and tour dates. Perhaps best known for their single, ‘Alphabet Aerobics’ (no thanks to Daniel Radcliffe), the duo will be coming to The Haunt on February 5th as part of their tour for ‘Emoni’, due for release this March.

With support from fellow Brightonians; rapper Dizraeli and DJ Downlow (both of Small Gods fame), Blackalicious will be displaying what makes their execution on the turntables and mic, that much more special. Having written and produced six definitive albums and EPs of late 90s/early 00s hip-hop, Gift of Gab and Chief Xcel will be giving Brighton a taste of what to expect from their supremely crafted and built to last take on the genre.

Be prepared for tongue-twisting to an extent you never thought possible, alongside polysyllabic musings and complex rhythms.

Not a show to be missed, for both die-hard fans and newbies alike.

Tickets are available here.
