London five piece, Eliza and the Bear, are back with their biggest headline UK tour to date. These lives shows signal the run up to their debut album, which is due for release in February of next year. Although there hasn’t been an abundance of music released by the band so far, they have a clear, distinct sound with bold sing-a-long choruses making for the ideal live band. Their most recent single, ‘Lion’s Heart’, makes a confident statement from the band with thumping drums, rousing trumpets and acoustic guitar, which makes for a very raw record. This sounds like a band coming into their own. Their previous single, ‘Make It On My Own’, takes a very different approach, sounding more electronic differing from their normal cheerful folky overtones. If you’re a fan of upbeat, indie rock, then be sure to catch Eliza and the Bear as they come to Brighton on October 10th at The Haunt, for the final night of their 8-date-tour.

Tickets are available for £11.60 from http://thehaunt.seetickets.com/event/eliza-and-the-bear/the-haunt/886453
