The London-based singer, who was previously known as Eliza Doolittle, has recently released her latest album A Real Romantic. The album is exceptionally different to her two previous albums, Eliza Doolittle from 2010 and In Your Hands from 2013. The two first albums both contained good generic pop songs that you could easily sing along to after listening to them once or twice.
Although ELIZA quickly became well known in the world of music, she decided to stay out of the limelight for many years before releasing her latest album. In an interview with Wonderland Magazine ELIZA explained her need to break free from her record label and instead be true to herself and her music. With A Real Romantic ELIZA manages to step away from the sing-along pop, and instead explores a completely raw and sensual side of her music. The album is in many ways an evidence of how ELIZA has matured in her songwriting throughout the years.
