It wasn’t long ago that Southampton born Louisa Rose Allen, a.k.a. Foxes, was an unknown artist looking for that breakthrough. All of a sudden she was a Grammy winning artist being invited to every awards ceremony under the sun, being snapped up for a modeling contract with Premier Models and becoming a regular in the UK top 40. After her collaboration with Zedd for ‘Clarity’ won them a Grammy for Best Dance Recording, Foxes released her debut album Glorious in May 2014. With big choruses and a real singalongability, it has been pinned down as one of the best pop albums of recent times with hit tracks like ‘Let Go For Tonight’ and ‘Youth’ which propelled the album to No. 5 in the charts. Still in the early stages of her career, Foxes looks to be a name to remember as she prepares to release her second album. Her late October tour follows her most recent single release, ‘Better Love’, yet another track which is irresistible to dance around to. 28th October at Concorde 2, Brighton, is the penultimate date of her short 7-date tour. Make sure you grab yourself a ticket to see one of the UK’s most exciting young pop artists.
