Budding entrepreneurs will be given the chance to develop their idea for a product or service with the chance of winning £2,000 towards funding the initiative.

Startup Sussex is a series of events and a competition organised by the Careers and Employability Centre aimed at getting students engaged in entrepreneurial endeavours (both commercial and social).

The Startup Sussex competition offers a platform for current students and recent graduates to propose an idea for a product or service for which the selected finalists present to a judging panel in December.

Winners are given bursaries of £2,000 to cover the costings of research, market analysis, travel, and the formation of their business.
Those who take part will also receive space in and support from Sussex Innovation Centre.
