Ikea moves to Brighton?
The world’s largest furniture retailer could be coming to Brighton, as Sweden’s biggest export scours the city’s land for a suitable building site.
Local businesses have shown huge support of the proposed IKEA plans as it is thought the company would bring up to hundreds of jobs to the area, which is currently facing huge unemployment.
IKEA verified its interest in potential sites in Brighton as well as West Sussex where Crawley is thought to be the most likely region for its new home.
However there is also the possibility of the furniture supergiant to build two stores in both West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.
