Women's Football Wet Weather Woe

The women’s football team played their first match of the season against Sussex Downs College on Wednesday. Despite losing and getting soaked to the skin, the team showed that they can play good football. Throughout the match, lack of concentration at points, the fact that it was the first time most players were on the pitch together, terrible weather conditions and unfitness lead to a negative result at the end of the match. However, some good football was played and it was a great chance for the new members of the team to get to know everyone in preparation for the first BUCS match of the season next week
